Chestnut Cookies

Chestnut biscuits are a delicious autumn treat, perfect for those who love authentic, rustic flavours.

Made with chestnut flour, these biscuits have a crumbly texture and a slightly sweet, earthy flavour reminiscent of the woods and mountain traditions.

Ingredients

  • flour type 00 g 150
  • chestnut flour g 100
  • brown sugar g 60
  • corn oil g 50
  • 1 egg
  • baking powder
  • grated rind of a lemo

Preparation

Knead all the ingredients together, making a fountain, with the chestnut flour, the 00 flour sifted with 1 teaspoon of baking powder, the brown sugar and add the egg, oil and lemon zest to the centre.

Knead the dough a little more, then give the biscuits the desired shape and bake at 180°.
