Ingredients

  • chestnuts
  • 1 litre of water
  • 700 g sugar
  • 200 g brandy
  • 200 g alchool
  • cloves
  • peel of 2 oranges
  • peel of 2 lemons
  • vanilla and cinnamon

Preparation

Prepare a syrup by boiling water, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and the peel of the citrus fruits for about 10 minutes, allow to cool, strain and mix with the alchool and brandy.

In the meantime cook the roasted chestnuts and peel them. put them in jars (already cold) and cover them with the remaining liquid.
